Oral surgery is the dental specialty covering all surgical procedures affecting the teeth and surrounding tissues. Our clinic performs painless procedures under local anaesthesia, with conscious sedation available when required.
Impacted Wisdom Tooth (Third Molar) Removal
Wisdom teeth that cannot find sufficient space in the jaw may remain impacted. These teeth can damage adjacent teeth, cause cyst formation, and lead to infection. At our clinic, impacted tooth extractions are planned with 3D radiography and performed with minimally invasive, pain-free techniques.
Apicoectomy (Root End Resection)
When root canal treatment is insufficient, the infected granuloma tissue at the root tip is surgically removed. This brings the infection under control without extracting the tooth.
Jaw Cyst Surgery
If jaw cysts are not treated early, they can grow and cause bone and tooth loss. At our clinic, cyst excision is performed under local anaesthesia; bone grafting is used to repair the defect when necessary.
Complex Tooth Extractions
Extracting broken, multi-rooted, or fused-root teeth requires special surgical techniques. Our clinic performs minimally traumatic surgical extractions using surgical instruments and a piezo (ultrasonic bone cutter) device.
Conscious Sedation Option
IV sedation (conscious sleep) is available for patients with dental anxiety or those undergoing lengthy procedures. The patient experiences the procedure in comfortable sleep and wakes up feeling well after surgery.
